Each year the Feeding America network of food banks and food-rescue organizations distributes two billion pounds of food and grocery products to hungry and needy Americans in communities across the country.
This distribution process is made possible by companies in the food and
grocery industry who regularly donate surplus, distressed, and damaged food and
grocery items to those Americans who need it most.
