September is Hunger Action Month!
Hunger Action Month is an opportunity to engage in the fight against domestic hunger. Feeding America and its 205 member food banks will host events across the United States that directly benefit our hunger-relief efforts. From food drives to concerts, volunteer outings to advocacy work, there’s something everyone can do to be a part of Feeding America.

Phil Vassar
Feeding America has partnered with country music recording star Phil Vassar to support Hunger Action Month. Phil has re-recorded the title track of his new CD, “Prayer of a Common Man”, with the Fisk Jubilee Singers. This special version of the song will be available Tuesday, September 9, only on Rhapsody.com. Feeding America will receive a portion of the proceeds for each download of the song through the end of the year. Thank you to Phil Vassar and the Fisk Jubilee Singers for raising their voices to help fight hunger in America.
